Flinders, Boneo, Rosebud and Rye host The National, Cape Schanck, Moonah Links, Eagle Ridge, The Golf Club at St Andrews Beach, Rosebud Country Club and The Dunes. For more local courses to your holiday home in the northern region, try Mt Martha Golf Club or at the Southern tip, Sorrento and Portsea Golf Clubs.

Coastal sightseeing is a must with walking tracks and bike paths extending throughout the region along the front and back beaches, through National Peninsula Parkland.

Children will enjoy a visit to the Peninsula Hot Springs, horse riding at Gunnamatta, strawberry picking at Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm, a visit to Green Olive at Red Hill to take part in cooking classes (and enjoy a jump on the large in-ground trampoline), Main Ridge Dairy which is a working cheese factory and goat diary, with a fabulous paddock to plate experience. The Enchanted Maze and Ashcombe Maze and Lavender Gardens also offers a fun-filled experience for children.

The Mornington Peninsula bayside has been likened to the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Certainly European influence is everywhere since Sorrento became the first site of settlement in Victoria, and since has been the playground of the holidaying rich and famous.
