We interviewed several prospective agencies before choosing Andrea Wilson and her team. My husband and I are experienced rental property owners. When it comes to property management, one could not improve on the care administered by Holiday Shacks. As one of Andrea’s original clients, I have been delighted with HS. Our home has been managed with incredible attention to detail, and one cannot fault the response when, on a rare occasion, we have needed to bring a matter to their attention. All charges incurred from housekeeping are both reasonable and standard to the industry, as are those of Holiday Shacks. At no time have I found fees to be exorbitant. I do not expect tasks to be executed for next to nothing, I get the standard of care that I pay for. What I have experienced is exemplary management and housekeeping. Housekeeping is headed up by a competent, hardworking and dedicated owner. Their housekeepers keep impeccably clean linen, and take great care with my expensive or fragile pieces. I remain indebted to both Holiday Shacks and Sue Pallot of housekeeping for keeping an alert eye on my beloved holiday home. I have never been charged for guests leaving rubbish behind. I have never experienced surprising behaviour or ridiculous charges. Holiday Shacks commission remains at a flat 20% which is standard on the peninsula. As Andrea’s business grew rapidly over the period of time addressed by the previous review, it would have been easy to see a dilution of our rental income as the new properties competed for our business. However, I made sure that we stepped up to the challenge, reviewing our amenities regularly to ensure we captured the market. With Andrea’s help, we did just that. Our property income has continued to grow. We enjoy many repeat bookings, and I can honestly say we enjoy a stress free administration of this home. Last year Holiday Shacks secured rental income for us that was 30% higher than the preceding year.
