Byron is a beautiful and private property in the perfect location. We had a very relaxing time and felt like we were at home from the moment we walked in. Everything so well thought through and so well appointed. Having such a wonderful place to stay made our anniversary weekend so much more special.

Had amazing stay at this property over the long weekend. It was a full house with 6 adults and 2 babies but there was plenty of room for all of us. We have never stayed in a better stocked house with plenty of pantry basics. All the cooking equipment was great quality and the house was so warm. We will definitely be back.

Was an amazing stay. Very clean and well equipped from kitchen to entertainment. View is wonderful. Pool was great but wish it was warmer. Solar heating was very poor.

The accommodation and facilities were top class. Holiday Shacks were extremely helpful and made up the bedrooms as requested and we appreciated this. Our grandchildren had so much fun in the pool, on the trampoline and hammock. The proximity to the beach is terrific and we all enjoyed the nature walk there and back. Our weekend at Oceania Retreat was a great success – thank you.

Our Stay at Vue de la Mer was great. The house was spacious and had enough entertainment for all our guests. Plenty of facilities available. The view is great from the Master rooms and the bed was very comfortable.

Very impressed with North Haven and the service from Holiday Shacks. The house and garden were well-equipped, very peaceful and comfortable. Our children loved the cubby and totem tennis in the garden. The air con kept us comfortable on even the hottest days. The children’s room is a little cramped but otherwise this was the perfect holiday house for a family. Would definitely return.

Our group of ladies ages 50 to 60 enjoyed every moment of this beautiful house. Loved the space the decor and the pool.. not to mention the amazing view. The property was clean and linens etc were fresh and lovely..we are quite a “picky’ bunch but found everything to be in good condition.. bar the outdoor cushions/chair pads which were quite grotty and unappealing to use (we do understand that they are used by many). Would highly recommend Newhaven as a great getaway.

What a beautiful home! Meticulously clean, stunning views, everything you need is there for you, 10 mins drive to lots of shops, 2 mins to the beach. Only complaint… whilst the main bedroom is HUGE with a fabulous outlook we think it important to know that if you have others staying in the home with you, the bedroom which is like a loft, doesn’t have a wall or door so the noise rises and for those that like a sleep in like we did, you wont. Apart from that we would be back in an instant.

We had a wonderful relaxing time at Byron by the Beach. A delightful home with every conceivable comfort and thoughtful touches. The garden and landscaping were admired, and the very comfortable outdoor lounge on the balcony was a great spot for afternoon sunshine. Thank you for the welcoming card and bottle of wine, appreciated by all. Comments I received from the 2 couples sleeping on the sofa beds. Bed springs quite sharp, suggest mattress toppers for more comfort.

The Hampton’s Retreat was absolute luxury. I couldn’t fault anything! The house is amazing and its facilities enabled the whole family to be catered for. It is in a wonderful location with a walk through the coastal bush to the wild and relatively secluded ocean beach. Holiday Shacks provided excellent service throughout the whole booking and accommodation process.
