Loved our stay at Ocean Luxe. Very spacious Size of property meant you didn’t have neighbours on top of you. Great location – walking distance to Rye Ocean beach and short drive to Gunnamatta. Lots to do at house – tennis court, pool & pool table. Very clean inside. Only criticisms would be the gardens around house and tennis court table were very overgrown, some curtains were damaged and dishwasher wasn’t working properly. But none of these took away from an amazing stay. Would highly recommend.

Our group had a wonderful time at Coastal Tranquillity. All four bedrooms are well appointed with very comfortable beds, with the highlight being a huge master suite complete with luxe bathroom and balcony with bay views. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with ensuite and bedrooms 3 and 4 also have queen beds and are adjacent to a full size bathroom. The kitchen is huge, contemporary and well-appointed with a nespresso machine, – large fridge with filtered water dispenser. The lounge and dining areas are really comfortable with a large TV and Netflix. Although it was too cold to enjoy while we were there the outdoor pool and entertainment area would be perfect for the summer months. An added bonus was that it was in walking distance to restaurants in Rye so our group was able to walk to and from dinner without the hassle of worrying about driving. We will definitely stay there again!

Thank you Holiday Shacks for another wonderful stay at Newhaven . We were lucky with perfect summer weather so the pool, spa and tennis court were fully utilised. The kitchen had every thing we needed and the views of the bay and the city are truly spectacular especially sitting out on the deck or lounging on the plush leather Jasper couches .. Quality linen and towels . This house really has everything. Holiday Shacks so easy and helpful to deal with too. We will be back next year.

We have now enjoyed several stays at Coastal Tranquility. What a wonderful property in a suburb location. The house is incredibly spacious and would comfortably sleep several families or a group of friends. We also had the pleasure of spending a romantic weekend as a couple there recently and it was fabulous. The kitchen is better stocked than our kitchen at home – so many utensils, crockery, glassware, cookware etc. There is a lovely lounge area where you can relax or watch the TV in front of the two fireplaces. The outside area is perfect for an afternoon glass of wine and a dip in the pool. And you can’t miss an early evening drink on the upstairs deck to watch the sun go down with lovely treetop and bay views. Andrea is a perfect host, check in was a breeze and she was very responsive if we had any questions. Overall we highly recommend the house with its multiple bedrooms and bathrooms and stylish decor. This has become a go to for us when looking for a quick weekend escape from Melbourne. Next time we definitely intend to stay longer!

Amalfi Dream was the perfect weekend escape for our young family. Plenty of space. A short walk to the shops and the beach. Heated pool and hot tub. We will be back for sure. Highly recommend!

Byron was a complete delight in every aspect and we were particularly pleased to have chosen this haven to celebrate a significant birthday. The lay out, decor and equipment were all first class and suited our needs to perfection. The service provided when requested was immediate and good. The location was ideal to our needs as we could get around the Peninsula with ease and do everything and go everywhere we needed. We had a gourmet chefs dinner one evening and the facilities were perfect.

Great place to stay. It’s very close to the beach which makes it perfect for a small walk or drive there. The pool is clean and well maintained. Plenty of space for everyone and the sauna was a highlight for us as well! Very relaxing stay :). The only drawback is a single air conditioner in the whole house, but the sea breeze helped cool us down.

Would like to say the property was absolutely stunning and definitely exceeded my expectations. Being a carpenter I have an appreciation of design and construction and the house was perfectly designed. The views were incredible and the setting in amounts the tress was so peaceful. The beach was absolutely beautiful. The house had more than enough appliances and bedding ,glassware etc. Holiday Shacks we’re conveniently easy to work with and I would definitely stay again.

We found Holiday Shacks very helpful and professional in arranging the accommodation. The apartment was clean and well presented and the views from the deck area looking over the inlet to the marina were very good. The location being close to the beach and the cafe/restaurant also being within walking distance was a bonus.

Great quiet location. Large home with multiple spaces. Fantastically equipped indoor kitchen and outdoor kitchen. Has absolutely everything you can imagine, from coffee machine to plastic glasses and plates to use by the pool. Bathrooms equipped with Sheridan towels as well as high end toiletries. The Pool and Spa are fantastic, all run by remote control so you can choose your level of heating at any time. Our weekend was one for my sisters and I to spend a bit of time with our Mum and it was just perfect. We did need to call a couple of time for assistance with the digital control aspect of the house but the concierge was great, nothing was a problem for them. They even personally delivered a lovely bottle of wine to us on our arrival. Bedrooms and beds equipped with super comfortable beds and bedding. Loads of instructions around the house for how to use certain things in the house. Really nothing to complain about at all. The girls are already looking forward to booking it again next year. Big shout out to Holiday Shacks for the way that they looked after us.
