Thomsons’ Retreat in Rye was Absolutely Stunning. A beautiful, light, airy home nestled in a quiet, undulating street. The home was immaculate. Every conceivable appliance and luxury was provided. The beds were generous and covered in the most exquisite eiderdowns and pillows. Real, thriving houseplants provided a genuine homely feel. The bathroom was spacious and bright and the oversized tub was sublime. There was a cupboard full of newly boxed and varied games and a great TV and Xbox consol… but who needs that, when you’re transfixed by a wonderful, illuminating glass-boxed fireplace? I cannot recommend Thomsons’ Retreat enough. Simply, Brilliant!

Loved our stay – it was perfect for a few days away, we were 2x couples and 2x two year olds. Jacuzzi was fun, lounges were cozy and beds were comfortable. Had 1x portacot, baby chair and a bunch of soft toys. Would stay again.

Excellent property right across the road from the beach! I stayed with my family, and it was perfect for all of us — very dog-friendly and even had everything we needed for my 8-month-old niece. The place was super clean, cozy, and well-equipped. Would absolutely recommend and would definitely stay again!
